Please note, bookings will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Frome Publishing Fair (formerly Frome Small Publishers’ Fair) was begun by Frome Writers’ Collective in 2016, and is now a popular annual event within Frome Festival. We would love you to join us this year.
As previously, the Fair will be held in the attractive setting of the Frome Silk Mill in the centre of town. We anticipate a high level of interest from visitors, with stallholders including publishers, publishing service providers, booksellers and independent authors and artists.
Publicity for the Fair will include a printed brochure with entries from all exhibitors, to be used for advance promotion and on the day. The Fair will also be advertised in the Frome Festival brochure and publicised via websites, print media, social media and local radio.
Each exhibition stand comprises an exhibition space with a full 2m X 0.5m table at a cost of £30 for the day (10.00am–3.30pm), or £15 for a half table. These prices have been held from last year. Set-up will be from 9am.
The venue’s facilities include:
A large gallery space
Wi-fi
Toilets
Drop-off and collection space on the road outside the Silk Mill
(volunteers will be available to help you transport your books).
A public car park next door for parking during the rest of the day.
Refreshments will be available from nearby shops and cafés, while teas and coffees will be supplied mid-morning and mid-afternoon, though you may wish to bring your own flask and/or sandwiches.
